Hello, and welcome to the introductory post of The Grim Scribe!
I am thrilled to share that my debut book will soon be published—but before that, I wanted to create this space. Somewhere for creativity, insights, and conversations.
As I embark on this self-publishing journey, I wanted to create a blog so that I can offer a behind-the-scenes of the process. We will touch on everything from the initial concept and writing stages to the final steps of publishing and promoting. I'll be sharing all my experiences, challenges, and triumphs. As well as including the stuff most others keep silent, the lows and the cost thus far on the journey.
But that's not all—this blog will also delve into different projects I have in the works!

I'll be going more in-depth in a later post, but a little about me: My name is AJ Eddy; I'm a New Hampshire native who has spent about 90% of my life writing. I have a love for all things grim but not horror. My writing usually has deep emotional moments while always finding a way back to lighthearted banter.
